FIELD: communication equipment. SUBSTANCE: method involves preliminary processing of signal messages transmitted from base station, when telephone set is in stand-by mode. Telephone set transmits information about roaming status and stand-by mode and telephone identification information into filter. Then filter receives incoming signal messages, while processor is still in stand-by mode. When filter detects message which requires its processing by processor, filter initiates processor interrupt procedure to process said message.
