PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a less expensive water taking device by enabling automatic termination of water supply when water level comes to a specified height without needing a specific driving source. SOLUTION: This device comprises a valve seat placed at a part of a water supplying section, a water intercepting valve combined with the valve seat, a lever mechanism having an operational lever 22 which separates the water intercepting valve from the valve seat, a latching mechanism 41 for holding the operational lever 22 at an operation position, a water level setting device containing a float 5 and a lever releasing device which operates the latching mechanism 41 depending on that water is filled up to the predetermined water level with the water setting device and releases the holding of the operational lever 22.
