Composition containing both a soluble and an insoluble form of an immunogen

An immunogen for eliciting an immune response to antigens, particularly normally weakly-immunogenic viral antigens, such as the haemagglutinin antigen (HA) from influenza virus contains the antigen in two different physio-chemical forms. The immunogen may comprise one composition containing the two antigen forms or there may be two compositions containing respective antigen forms. Administration of the immunogen to an animal at one or more sites gives an enhanced immune response compared to the immunogen comprising only one of the two antigen forms.
