PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadband antenna which can match in a wide band and whose entire size including a ground plate can be downsized.SOLUTION: A broadband antenna 1 has a configuration in which an antenna element 3 is arranged on an antenna forming surface 21 of a dielectric substrate 2 and a ground conductor 4 is arranged on a ground conductor forming surface 22 of the dielectric substrate 2. The antenna element 3 is formed by connecting a first antenna portion 31, a second antenna portion 32 and a third antenna portion 33 in parallel at a conductor right side edge portion 4r of the ground conductor 4. The broadband antenna 1 appropriately sets a region where the side of a left side edge portion 31l of the first antenna portion 31 overlaps the ground conductor 4 with the dielectric substrate 2 interposed therebetween, and appropriately sets a region where a left side edge portion 32l of the second antenna portion 32 is separated from the ground conductor 4, so that a portion where a transmission wave having a substantially constant impedance in a broadband is mainly distributed is connected to a radiation portion via a portion in which a transmission wave and a radiation wave are mixed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
