PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce weight of a wheel wherein the drop portion of the rim and the general portion of the disc are bonded by welding, by setting the fit length between the drop portion of the rim and the rise portion of the disc in a specific dimensional range. SOLUTION: A rise portion 22 of a disc 20 comprises a general portion 22a corresponding to a circularly punched portion in a square plate material and a ventilation portion 22b corresponding to other portions of the square plate material. The rise portion 22 of the disc 20 is fitted to a drop portion 14 of a rim 10 in radially inward direction. A fit length (a length formed by fitted portion between a portion parallel to axis center of the rim of the drop portion 14 and a portion parallel to axis center of the rise portion 22 of the disc 20) is set between equal to or greater than 2 mm and equal to or less than 15 mm, and the portions are fillet welded. Through the combination of fit length of 2 mm or more and fillet welding, strength and accuracy of a wheel is ensured, while realizing a weight reduction effect by making the fit length equal to or less then 15 mm.
