PURPOSE: A method for inputting/displaying a service information of an electronic equipment is provided to input and to display the first using date, month, and year for ensuring a service guarantee period of the electronic equipment. CONSTITUTION: A method for inputting a service information of an electronic equipment comprises: judging if a certain order is inputted for a first time to a controlling unit of the electronic equipment; displaying a service menu screen for inputting a service information in case of inputting a certain order; judging if the service information including the information about present date at least is inputted to the service menu screen; and storing the service information to a memory in case of inputting the service information.
