PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gauze stretching method by which it is possible to easily peel a gauze from a frame body without the use of a solvent or the like and also without the peeling of an adhesive, and dispense with the use of a new adhesive and easily stretch the gauze even when stretching the gauze is performed again, in a step to stretch the gauze on a makeup frame in screen printing. SOLUTION: First, a silane coupling agent is applied on the surface 20 of a frame body of an aluminum material to adjust a ground, and then an adhesive 30 is applied and heated. Further the adhesive 30 is baked on the surface 20 of the frame body and a gauze 40 which is spread over the surface 20 of the frame body under constant tension is thermally pressed. In addition, the gauze 40 is tensely fitted to the surface 20 of the frame body and the adhesive 30 is formed into a coating film with about 2 mm thickness.
