PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make easily calculatable the size of an object to be photographed from a photographed image in a photographing device for photographing an object to be photographed, and for editing the photographed image. SOLUTION: The monitor image of a subject placed on a subject pedestal 405 in a case 401 is outputted from a digital camera 20, and this monitor image is displayed in a monitor window in which grids are displayed on a display screen on a display 12 of an image processor 10, and the size of the measure of the grid is compared with the size of the image of the subject. Then, the size of the subject is calculated by referring to an actual size prediction table in which an actual dimension equivalent to the measure of the grid is set which is stored in a storage device based on photographic magnification at the time of photographing by the digital camera 20.
