SOLUTION: A display controller 4R generates the clock number data Scd according to the state of a digital image signal Sid. According to this clock number data Scd, a clock generator 2 generates a correctly adjusted clock sc. The display controller 4R generates the phase data Sp according to the state of the digital image signal Sid. According to the phase data Sp, a delay unit 5 correctly adjusts the phase of a horizontal synchronizing signal Hsync to generate a delayed horizontal synchronizing signal Shs. The display controller 4R generates display device control data Sdc according to the state of the digital image signal Sid. Then an image display driver 10 processes the digital image signal Sid to generate the drive signal SD of a digital image display device.
