PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely extinguish coloring of an electrochromic layer when a voltage applied on an electrode layer from a power supply becomes uncontrollable. SOLUTION: This electrochromic anti-dazzle mirror is comprised of a pair of substrates 110 one of which is at least transparent, a pair of electrode layers 120 which are laminated on the opposing substrates 110 respectively and one of which is at least transparent, an electrochromic layer interposed between the opposing faces of the electrode layers 120, and a light reflecting layer 150, and between the opposing faces of the pair of electrode layers 120, a conducting means 160 is arranged, which gradually transmits electric charges stored on one of the electrode layers onto another. Coloring of the electrochromic layer is surely extinguished by the gradual transmission of the electric charges stored on one of the electrode layers 120 onto the other electric layer through the conducting means.
