FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: cooling liquid may be used as heat carriers in heat-exchanging apparatuses and in cooling systems of internal combustion engines. The cooling liquid contains, mas.%: glycol, 35-96; sodium hydroxide, 0.07-0.15; sodium tetraborate, 0.6-1.3; benzotriazole, 0.005-0.01; bromothymol blue indicator pH, 0.0003-0.0015; water, the balance. The proposed cooling liquid provides compatibility with other antifreezes on glycols base. EFFECT: improved ecological and operating properties; increased stability.
