PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a working efficiency by providing a revolving base attached to the top of a leader and a boom arranged on the revolving base to swivel in a horizontal plane by the turn of the revolving base, in a crane mounted on the top of the leader. SOLUTION: A leader 12 is erected in front of a self-advancing vehicle 18 and a revolving crane 20 is arranged at the top of the leader 12, in this pile driving machine. The crane 20 is provided with a revolving base 22 attached to the top of the leader 12 and a boom 24 swiveling around the leader 12 by the revolving base 22. When a sheet pile 40 is positioned at the side or the rear side of the pile driving machine 10, in a state that the revolving base 22 is turned and the boom 24 is turned to a required direction, a wire 16 is fed and the sheet pile 40 is lifted, and thereafter the boom 24 is turned from the front side of the leader 12 to set the sheet pile 40 in a working device 14. Since the boom 24 is rotatably arranged around the leader 12, piles positioned at the side or the rear side of the pile driving machine 10 can be lifted up without turning the pile driving machine itself. Hence, the working efficiency can be improved.
