FIELD: protection of liquid metal stream against action of atmosphere gases at metal casting. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes base, carrying lever 3 with protective sleeve 4, mechanism for inclining lever in vertical plane, mechanism for reciprocation motion having movable carriage 6 mounted on platform 2 with guides; mechanism for rotating lever around its own axis and mechanism for turning lever in horizontal plane. Vertical axle 8 is rigidly secured to base 1. Platform 2 is mounted with possibility of rotation around axle 8. EFFECT: aligning of central axial line of carrying lever parallel relative to guides of platform and axis of pouring opening of ladle. 2 dwg
