PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire-retardant resin composition with sufficient fire retardancy without lowering mechanical properties of the resin. SOLUTION: This fire-retardant resin composition comprises at least one resin component selected from an ABS(acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene) resin and a polycarbonate resin, a phosphorus compound, neutralization treated thermal expandable graphite and an inorganic filler. The resin component of 100 pts.wt. is mixed with 10-100 pst.wt. of the sum of phosphorus compound, neutralization treated thermal expandable graphite and inorganic filler, and a weight ratio of the graphite to the phosphorus compound is 0.01-9.
