PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rubber composition for tire having excellent appearance, capable of rapidly exhibiting browning preventing effect on the surface of tire and maintaining the effect for a long, period of time by mixing a specific rubber composition with specified surfactants in a prescribed ratio. SOLUTION: A rubber composition obtained by mixing 100 pts.wt. of one or more rubbers selected from the group consisting of a natural rubber and a diene-based synthetic rubber with preferably 1-5 pts.wt. of an amine-based antioxidant such as N-phenyl-N'-(1,3-dimethylbutyl)-p-phenylenediamine, etc., is mixed with 0.3-5 pts.wt. of the sum of two or more kinds of surfactants having different compatibility with rubber. The surfactant having higher compatibility with rubber of the surfactants is a slow-acting surfactant and the surfactant having lower compatibility with rubber is a quick acting surfactant and preferably the surfactants are mixed so as to satisfy a relation of the equation 900<AX+BY<1,500 [A is a HLB value of the quick acting mechanical; B is a HLB value of the slow-acting surfactant; X is the ratio (wt.%) of the quick acting surfactant; Y is the ratio (wt.%) of the slow-acting surfactant].
