PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain at low cost the subject safe and effective shampoo capable of controlling sebum secretion and keratinization speed and obviating the source of developing dandruff by including a surfactant, cation regulator, humectant brilliantine, etc. SOLUTION: This shampoo is obtained by including, as the main ingredients, (A) 20-50 wt.% of a surfactant (e.g. sodium lauryl ether sulfate), (B) 2-10 wt.% of a cation regulator [e.g. dihydroxypolyoxyethylene (5) linoleate ammonium chloride], (C) 1-5 wt.% of a humectant brilliantine [e.g. polyoxyethylene(20) methylglucoside], (D) 0.1-1 wt.% of a Chinese medicine rumex extract liquid, (E) 0.1-1 wt.% of Octopirox (R) dandruff remover, and (F) deionized water. Furthermore, it is preferable that this shampoo is formulated with each appropriate amount of essence, antiseptic and coloring matter.
