The solar module comprises an electronic circuit with a DC voltage converter (12) which converts a source voltage into a predetermined constant output voltage (U2) for the supply of an external electric load. A switching control unit (10) controls the DC voltage converter in dependence on the source voltage in such way, that it is connected to the load, if the source voltage oversteps a predetermined switch-on threshold value, and is disconnected, if the source voltage remains below a predetermined switch-off threshold value, smaller than the switch-on threshold value. An Independent claim is provided for a manufacturing method for the solar module.
