PURPOSE: A hybrid pager terminal commonly uses a pager and city-phone, and obtains a position of a terminal. CONSTITUTION: The hybrid pager terminal includes a pager call system(10), a city-phone system, and a local or trunk telephone network(2). In the pager call system(10), a pager system management station(11) manages a pager call system(10) and processes information about the hybrid pager terminal(1) and a call message, and the pager base station(12) is constructed as a transmission station having antenna(13). In the city-phone system(20), a city-phone system management station(21) calculates a position of the hybrid pager terminal(1), and transmits the calculated position to the pager call system(10). Many city-phone base stations(22-25) receive a position confirmation request signal from the hybrid pager terminal(1), and transmits the information to the city-phone system management station(21), thereby calculating the position of the hybrid pager terminal(1). The telephone network(2) mutually connects the city-phone system management station(21), city-phone base stations(22-25), a pager system management station(11), and a pager base station(12). Thereby, the hybrid pager terminal commonly uses a pager and city-phone, and obtains a position of a terminal.
