PURPOSE: A door of a device for fermenting and storing a kimchi is provided to open the door being arranged in the upper side of a main body from the front, the rear, the left, and the right directions for increasing a convenience of a user. CONSTITUTION: A device for fermenting and storing a kimchi comprises: a kimchi storing chamber being surrounded by an insulating member for blocking a leakage of heat; a main body(100) containing a heater and a cooling instrument for heating and cooling the storing chamber; the insulating member being inserted to the inside of the upper unit of the main body for preventing the external heat from being transmitted to the storing chamber; and a cover(200) being fixed by a shaft(300) for selectively opening. Herein, first to fourth shafts(6, 6a, 6b, 6c) being fixed to hinges(4, 4a, 4b, 4c) are inserted to a guide groove(22) being formed on the both sides of a cover(10) and are located in the area of a start of an inclined groove(24) while being closed. Therefore, if the cover(10) is lifted vertically, the cover(30) is separated from a body(20).
