PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a plant storage box suitable for a packing material for a present while keeping the function of the plant storage box by continuously providing a shelf forming piece aside a side plate piece in a developed plate to be assembled in a box, and assembling the shelf forming piece in a shelf shape in a surrounding condition by the side plate piece. SOLUTION: In folding a developed plate to assemble a plant storage box, side plate pieces 2a-2d and a shelf forming piece 15 are folded at right angles and lapped to form a square prismatic shape. Each bottom piece is successively folded at right angles and lapped to form a bottom plate. Then, a shelf part 5b of a shelf forming piece 5, shelf support parts 5c, 5d, and a shelf support piece 5f are folded at right angles to form a shelf 15, and a pot 7 is inserted in a hole 6 and supported thereby. Top plate pieces 3a-3d are successively folded at right angles and lapped to form a top plate. Since the plant packaging box is assembled into a complete box, it can be suitably utilized as a packing material of a present.
