PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate need of switching equipment at a transforming station and a feeder distribution place and enabling a parallel feeder to be possible. SOLUTION: At the incoming transforms TR1 of substations A, B, a three- phase-single-phase PWM power converter 1 consisting of a three-phase PWM converter and a single-phase PWM inverter respectively is provided as a power converter for AC feeder. Its output voltage is converted to feeder voltage by a single-phase transformer TR2 and outputted to a feeder line through breakers CB1 to CB4. The substations A, B are capable of incorporating the feeder voltage into control of the power converter 1 for phase matching. It is thus possible to eliminate need of switching equipment such as switching breaker conducting switching operations according to the passage of a train at a substation and a feeder distribution place, as found in a conventional case where three-phase-single-phase conversion has been conducted using a wood bridge or a Scott transformer, thereby providing parallel feeder.
