PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printable synthetic resin made eraser and a small-size, inexpensive and conveniently usable direct printing device for the synthetic resin made eraser by applying an image-receiving face on which graphic data or text data, etc., can be printed on one face of the eraser. SOLUTION: An image-receiving layer 1a is applied on one face of this synthetic resin made eraser 1, and the layer 1a is constituted of a material on which an image of graphic data or text data to be sent from a personal computer or the like is can be received to produce an image. The graphic data or the text data 1b is received for image on the image-receiving layer 1a. The layer 1a for absorbing the aqueous ink-jet ink is formed on one surface of the eraser 1. Thus the aqueous ink-jet ink is fixed on a synthetic resin without repellence and separation of the aqueous ink-jet ink from the synthetic resin to form a graphic data or a text data.
