DEVICE FOR COUPLING TO GAS PIPELINE WITHOUT REDUCING GAS PRESSURE

FIELD: gas supply equipment. SUBSTANCE: device can be used in provision of gas supply in urban and rural areas actually to individual houses, cottages, etc. where couplings are used for connection of gas branches to gas pipeline without reducing gas pressure. Device is provided with tee-piece for connection to pipeline and with flange including shut-off member. Installed on tee-piece flange is attachment intended for cutting-in wall of gas pipeline. Shut-off member is made in the form of cylindrical pin or in the form of cylindrical pin with through-cut radial hole. Its diameter is equal to diameter of cutting tool of attachment for cutting-in wall of gas pipeline. Tee-piece flange has lateral axial hole and longitudinal hole. Diameter of longitudinal hole is larger than diameter of axial hole used for alternate installation of shut-off members. Diameters of shut-off members are equal to diameter of longitudinal hole. Aforesaid embodiment of device ensures higher reliability of its operation. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 dwg
