PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and inexpensive solenoid actuator assembly for a fuel injector for reducing the response time by maximizing the suction force. SOLUTION: This solenoid actuator assembly is provided with a solenoid fixer assembly 58, positioned in an actuator housing 52 and a magnetic flux dissipation reducing means 60 for minimizing the leakage of the magnetic flux to the housing, and the magnetic flux dissipation reducing means is provided with slots 88 and 90 formed in the housing adjacent to each outer face of magnetic pole pieces 62, 64, and 66 of the solenoid fixer assembly, so that leakages can be prevented form being generated in the metallic housing. Thus, the attraction can increased due to the slots to by maximizing the cross-sectioned area of the magnetic pole piece. The solenoid fixer assembly directly supports a laminated stack assembly without intermediate housings and functions as an injector main body for receiving the compressed assembly load of an injector.
