The sheet fixing device has the arc-shaped edge of the sheet clamped in the gap (120) of the fixing clamp (1), while the side projecting edge (41) is received in a clamp recess (12). The two edges (121, 122) of this recess are connected so that the sheet is firmly gripped by the fixing clamp. The clamp edges may be flat to produce friction resistance through the strip binding of the sheet to the clamp edges.
