Hydroxyl ammonium sulfate is produced by separating a part of the nitrogen monoxide after the second stage of concentrating with nitrous gas into nitric acid and concentrated nitrogen monoxide via the compressor (8) and adsorber (9), removing between the compressor and the adsorber, mixing with an equivalent amount of oxygen in a mixer (15), cooling in a condenser (16), absorbing in an absorber (17), and feeding to a reactor (11) with another part of the nitric acid condensate from adsorber (9). Production of hydroxyl ammonium sulfate comprises preparing a reaction mixture made of ammonia, oxygen and water vapor, catalytically ammoxidizing, mixing the nitrous gas with hydrogen, stabilizing the gas composition, and purifying the nitrous gas. A part of the nitrogen monoxide is separated after the second stage of concentrating with nitrous gas into nitric acid and concentrated nitrogen monoxide via the compressor (8) and adsorber (9), and then removed between the compressor and the adsorber, mixed with an equivalent amount of oxygen in a mixer (15), cooled in a condenser (16), absorbed in an absorber (17), and fed to a reactor (11) with another part of the nitric acid condensate from adsorber (9).
