PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten time for retrieval while keeping the accuracy of collation by collating biological features retrieved based on extracted attribute data and extracted biological information. SOLUTION: When a person comes in front of a door, a weight sensor 15 outputs a detecting signal and the data of weight and a line sensor 14 outputs a detecting signal and the data of height as well. These data are inputted to a CPU 20, a camera 13 is activated, an image processor 26 processes the picked-up image into collation enable image information and outputs it to the CPU 20 and the CPU 20 extracts respective kinds of information such as physique, sex, age and dedicated tool as face information and attached data. Corresponding to these attribute data, persons registered in a storage device 23 are narrowed down and retrieved and the face information of the retrieved registered persons is collated with the face information extracted from the image of the camera 13. When the coming person is coincident with any registered person, the collation history of attribute data of that registered person is recorded and collation frequency or the like is updated.
