PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealing device to be suitable for application for various fuel devices and limitable to a level high enough to allow leakage of fuel even when the fuel device is operated at a high fuel pressure. SOLUTION: A sealing device comprises a support member having an approximately circular outer periphery; and an elastic seal member 12 mounted on a support member. The elastic seal member has approximately circular outer periphery when this member is in a slackened state and diameter larger than that of the support member. The elastic seal member and the support member are positioned eccentrically to each other when the elastic seal member is in a relaxation state. Further, the seal member and the support member have an approximately equal diameter and are compressible in an opposing direction in which the members are approximately coaxial with each other.
