PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent switching operation of a signal from raising troubles. SOLUTION: This signal switching device is provided with a metal base 1, fixing terminals 3a, 3b, 3c penetrated and fixed to the metal base 1 in an insulating state, a movable contact piece having a contact/separate surface which abuts and separates from the fixing terminals 3a, 3b, 3c for switching a signal, a metallic shielding member 4 joined to the metal base 1, so that surrounding portion 4b provided for surrounding around the movable contact piece stand on the metal base 1 along penetrating direction of the fixing terminals 3a, 3b, 3c, an insulating material made base 16 that has a fixing hole 16d for fixing the metal base 1 at its inner edge and has a plurality of facing surfaces 16e, 16f from different facing direction on the outward surface of the surrounding portion 4b. In this case, at least one of the facing surfaces 16e, 16f of the base 16 and the outward surface of the surrounding portion 4b is constituted such that contact portions 4c, 4d abutting to the other along the facing direction are projected.
