AN AUTOMATIC SYSTEM FOR DETECTION, CLASSIFICATION AND LOADING OF DISK-TYPE RADIATION SOURCES

PURPOSE: Automation system for measuring, classifying, and loading a radiation source of a disc shape is provided to reduce a work time by automatizing a measuring process, a classifying process, and a loading process for a radiation of a disc. CONSTITUTION: A frame unit is installed to fix various devices of a rear end portion. An irradiation vessel cutting device fixes and cuts an irradiation vessel(101) for mounting discs. A target transfer device transfers a target support(102) of the cut irradiation vessel(101) and a disc(100) of the target support(102) to a front or a rear or a left or a right direction. A radioactivity reading device measures the amount of radioactivity included in the disc(100) in a disc transferring process. A target location indicating device indicates a location of the disc(100) within the target support(102).
