The load is made of plastic and metal or metal alloy granules(16) or elements with magnetic characteristics are incorporated in the plastic to enable it to be lifted by a magnet. Independent claims are also included for: (a) a process for manufacturing the object(10) in which the granules(16) or elements are mixed into a fluid or plasticized plastic(14) and the mixture placed in a mold with a magnet for attracting and positioning the metal components. The mixture is then hardened and demolded; (b) process equipment for making the object comprising a mold with a permanent or electromagnet which either moves relative to a mold wall or is located in a mold wall. Preferred Features: The metal granules or elements are densely packed either at or close to the surface of the object.
