PURPOSE: An air conditioner is provided to prevent dew formation, maintain cooling cycle uniform and increase cooling efficiency by curving the heat exchanger and front panel such that the spacing between the heat exchanger and the front panel is constant. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner comprises an outer case formed by a front panel(10) and a chassis(20); a heat exchanger(400) incorporated into the outer case, and which is bent to have a predetermined curvature and has a refrigerant pipe(400a) and a plurality of fins(400b) welded to the outer periphery of the refrigerant pipe; and an end plate(500) fixed to both side surfaces of the heat exchanger through the refrigerant pipe, and which has a lower end bent to allow the heat exchanger to be fixed within the outer case. The heat exchanger is fixed to the chassis by a fixing unit including a support plate(21) formed integrally with the chassis so as to support a blower fan(3) and which has a first bent piece(210) formed by bending inwardly an end of the support plate; the end plate having an upper end bent to tightly contact the surface of the heat exchanger and a lower end forming a second bent piece(510); and a coupling member(60) for coupling the heat exchanger to the support plate.
