PURPOSE: A PIP output controller of a television is provided to enable a viewer to effectively view a main/sub screen by adjusting an output form of a main/sub screen of a sub screen according to a genre of a broadcasting program outputted to a main screen in case of a PIP mode. CONSTITUTION: A control signal input unit(10) set whole functions equipped in a relevant television. A control unit(12) controls whole device on the basis of a control signal. A main tuner(14) tunes a main channel among a plurality of channels under the control of the control unit(12). A main video IF module(16) performs a video IF amplification of a video signal of the main channel. A signal composition unit(20) switches an R/G/B signal applied from a PIP processing unit(34) at high speed. A deflection coil(22) deflects the R/G/B signal vertically/horizontally. A CRT(24) outputs the signal deflected. A deflection power supply circuit(26) applies a horizontal deflection signal and a vertical deflection signal.
