NEARBY BASE STATION LIST SELECTING METHOD

PURPOSE: A method for automatically extracting neighbor base station list is provided to effectively manage and facilitate maintenance and repair of a base station data through a data base by adopting a system PLD data at the initial stage through an algorithm developed for setting a reliable neighbor base station list for performing a hand-off. CONSTITUTION: A pseudorandom noise(PN) offset is inputted to a base station. An initial parameter and environment are established. Candidates of neighbor base stations are computed on the basis of priority that they can reach. The candidates are sorted to crease a neighbor base station management module. It is determined whether it is a PCS or a cellular phone. If it is the PCS, a priority index is computed, while if it is the cellular phone, it bypasses. A neighbor base station list output file is created. A PLD generation module is created.
