PURPOSE: A battery equivalancing apparatus of an electric vehicle is provided to be able to equivalance respective battery modules in considering of impedance of the battery modules without adding any coils or cost increasement. CONSTITUTION: A battery controller(10) verifies the states of respective battery modules(30) to output signals for equivalancing and charging of the battery modules. A charger(20) consists of first/second rectifiers(21,22) and outputs predetermined electric signals for equivalancing and charging of the battery modules in accordance with the signals of the battery controller(10). A relay box(40) applies the constant current signal of the battery charger to a battery module having unbalanced charging state through a predetermined contact choice. A voltage detector(50) detects the voltage of a battery module complementarily charged by the battery charger.
