PURPOSE: A device and a method for alarming the intensity of illumination are provided to inform a driver of the luminosity of a light when the luminosity of the light is under a standard intensity of illumination. CONSTITUTION: A device for alarming the intensity of illumination is comprised of a sensing unit(100), an A/D convert unit(200), a control unit(300), a comparison unit(400), a voice data output unit(500), a D/A convert unit(600) and a speaker(700). Herein, if a voice signal output unit(500) output from the control unit receives a control signal and outputs a voice signal, and the D/A covert unit receives a digital voice signal output from the voice signal output unit and converts it to an analog voice signal, the speaker receives the analog signal and outputs a voice to inform a driver of the intensity of illumination in the vehicle light.
