PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for heat treating synthetic fiber filaments capable of remarkably and easily carrying out maintenance such as a cleaning, exchanging or the like of guides in a heater of a false twister and a draw false-twist texturing machine. SOLUTION: This heat-treating device 3 comprises a heater 3a which surrounds the whole or a part of running synthetic fiber filaments Y in an uncontact state, a heating unit 3b which heats a heating surface of the heater 3a at a high temperature and plural thread guides 41 held on a guide holder 31. The guide holder 31 has both leg parts 31b made by folding a steel plate in U shape along a folding line 31a and expanding outward from its root and plural thread guide-inserting holes 31c with intervals in the direction of the thread guides. A thread guide 41 of two spindles in one type is capable of being engaged to the thread guide-inserting hole 31c and the guide holder 31 is removable along the heater 3a in the thread guide direction.
