The invention concerns an endovascular prosthesis made of several elements for intracranial aneurysms, consisting of a main element (1) formed by a slit head ring integral with one or several longitudinal bars (2), and several independent slit rings (4), said rings, all of the same size and whereof the manufacture diameter is substantially greater than the internal diameter of the vessel to be treated, being designed to be set contiguously at the site of the aneurysm by means of a catheter tube, the longitudinal bar(s) being arranged across said tube and serving as support for the independent rings. The invention is designed to prevent locally risks of internal haemorrhage caused by a burst aneurysm, and is particularly designed to be used in cervical vessels with very small cross-section. |
