<p>PURPOSE: A pigment material without mote is provided which is able to be employed for aqueous and organic coating system and shows high stability and is highly commonly used with other components of the coating system. CONSTITUTION: A pigment material comprises: (i) not less than 50 wt.% of at least one effect pigment; (ii) 0.1-50wt.% of plasticizer or a mixture of plasticizer and nitrocellulose; and (iii) 0-49.9wt.% of solvent or solvent mixture, wherein the effect pigment contains pearly pigment or Al2O3, SiO2 or TiO2 platelet coated with at least one metal oxide and the plasticizer is hydroxycarboxylic acid ester and the ratio of the plasticizer to the nitrocellulose is 1: 1-1: 9 and the solvent is alcohol. The pigment material is able to be used for paint, varnish, printing ink and plastic.</p> |
