Assembly to inoculate sludge with polymers prior to de-watering has mixer pipe fed by a vortex chamber jets

An assembly inoculates sludge with polymers. The sludge is subsequently de-watered in assembly such as a filter press chamber, screen press, excess sludge thickener or centrifuge. The de-watering assembly has a mixer pipe (13) with an outlet, and an inlet fed by a vortex chamber jets (6). The jet consists of a jet head with a constriction feeding to a polymer flow twister. The mixer pipe has a number of a number of turbulator vanes. A powered mixer unit has paddles or mixer blades (20) extending into the mixer pipe (1) downstream from the vortex chamber jets (6).
