PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the capacity of a total heat exchanger having an opening of each passage along a side opposite to a large number of laminated quadrilateral partition members by effectively using the whole surface of the partition members. SOLUTION: A large number of rectangular partition members 21 with heat transfer and moisture permeability are laminated, and an introduction passage and a discharge passage are alternately formed across each partition member 21. Openings 23, 24 are formed on each long edge side of the partition member 21 in each passage, and the openings 23, 24 are arranged at the position diagonal to each other. A division wall 40 is provided on each passage, and an internal flow passage 30 leading from an inlet 23 to an outlet 24 is formed. A translation part 41 extending from the openings 23, 24 along a short edge of the partition member 21 and a crossing part 42 extending along the long edge of the partition member 21 are provided on the division wall 40. An arc-like extending part 43c is provided between the translation part 41 and the crossing part 42.
