PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect a material to be cooled or the like and to reduce a noise of an overall refrigerator by preventing a vibration from a refrigerator body from being transmitted to the material to be cooled or the like. SOLUTION: The refrigerator comprises a refrigerator body 1 for reciprocating a piston or a displacer 4 in an expansion cylinder 2 to generate a cold heat in an expanding step of operating gas in an expansion space formed in the cylinder 2, and a vibration-proofing means 14 provided between a mounting surface for mounting the body 1 and a material to be cooled brought into contact with the body 1. In this case, the means 14 has a laminar structure consisting of a vibration-proofing rubber member 21 and a plurality of spherical members 23.
