PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify configuration of a gas-turbine plant that employs an ice accumulator to cool intake air by cooling intake air by means of a heat absorbed when ice or similar substance is dissolved, and by using for intake-air cooling at least part of compressors that compress refrigerant for a refrigerating machine that makes ice. SOLUTION: When accumulating heat through making ice, refrigerant is compressed by compressors 1, 2 and sent to a heat exchanger 3, where it is chilled and liquefied. The resultant liquid refrigerant is expanded as it passes through a throttle valve 11. Ice is made when refrigerant absorbs heat to vaporize at an accumulator tank 4. When intake air is cooled by dissolving ice, on the other hand, refrigerant is compressed by a pump 8 and expanded by a throttle valve 12. Intake air is cooled when the refrigerant is then vaporized at an intake air cooling unit 5. The refrigerant is thereafter cooled and condensed by ice in the accumulator tank 4. When the compressor 2 is used to cool intake air, refrigerant is condensed by the heat exchanger 3 and expanded by the throttle valve 12. Intake air is then cooled as refrigerant vaporizes at the intake air cooling unit 5.
