PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a table of data arrangement in which data retrieval time is prevented from being extended even if the number of data to be stored is increased by updating the discrete value of the management data area of a main table and a sub table and performing each counting such as the number of packet transmission times of a host and the number of packet receiving times. SOLUTION: When a packet is sent here in a state which one MAC address is not stored in a main table MT and a sub table ST, a relative row address corresponding to lower 16-bit data of the MAC address of a transmission source host is first found. Thereafter, it is decided that a MAC address is not stored in the MAC address area MA of the relative row address in the table MT, a MAC address is stored in the area MA. After that, 1 is stored in an area where the number of transmission times is stored in a row management data area DA. Thus, it is stored that the host of the MAC address transmits a packet one time.
