PURPOSE: An indoor unit of a package air conditioner is provided to make smooth the heat exchange by supplying indoor air by installing a cross fan between an evaporative heat exchanger of an indoor unit and the bottom of an intake grill. CONSTITUTION: A blower(50) installed inside a cabinet drives according to the starting of an indoor unit and indoor air flowed inside via an intake grill(24). And the indoor air is sucked at the bottom of the intake grill by driving a cross fan(66). The indoor air passes the cross fan guided to a curved groove on the upper portion of a first guider(62) and passes the bottom of an evaporative heat exchanger(40). Then, the sucked air guided to the curved groove of the first guider is about to flow backward to indoor via the rear face of the intake grill by accelerating force. Accordingly, while the indoor air is sucked via the intake grill installed on the front lower portion of a cabinet(30), locally flow in the indoor air by the cross fan installed thereunder. Thereby the whole area of the evaporative heat exchanger is used. |
