PURPOSE: A method for researching a public opinion in a satellite broadcasting system is provided to research the public opinion without separated additional expenses. CONSTITUTION: A researching method of public opinion in a satellite broadcasting system transmits a message for requesting a research of public opinion through a satellite by loading in an RCM(Receiver Command Message) packet among an RSMS(Resource and Subscriber Management System) for performing the research of public opinion in the RSMS(3). The Rcm packet is transmitted, and caption data for displaying is transmitted by containing in an elementary stream or an RSMS message so a user as to select a content of research on a TV screen at the same time. A receiver(4) decodes the received Rcm packet. The receiver(4) transmits an inputted user's opinion about the research of public opinion to the RSMS(3) when a checking operation is finished after receiving a message of research and inputting in a smart card(6) for the checking operation. And the receiver(4) disconnects a contact with the RSMS(3), and transmits a checking signal of disconnection for checking the disconnection to the RSMS(3). The RSMS(3) performs the research of public opinion by synthesizing each user's opinion received from receivers. |
