PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic detecting device expanding the degree of freedom in use and design and realizing space saving and cost reduction. SOLUTION: This magnetic detecting device is provided with a detecting means 20 arranged to face a detected body 10 of a magnetic substance, a permanent magnet for applying the bias magnetic field to the detecting means 20, and a signal processing circuit processing the output signals of the detecting means 20. The detecting means 20 includes multiple detecting element regions 2A, 2B, 12A, 12B with different resolutions, and the signal processing circuit includes multiple signal processing regions for converting multiple output signals from the detecting means 20 into individually different signal modes. Multiple detecting element regions 2A, 2B, 12A, 12B and multiple signal processing regions are formed on the same chip 20, chips for a low resolution and a high resolution are used in common on the same chip, and multiple different output signals are generated from the same chip.
