PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work gondola capable of carrying out the work efficiently. SOLUTION: This work gondola 10 is capable of traveling on a sloped surface such as roof or the like, has a plurality of wheels and is equipped with a carriage 11 freely traveling on a sloped surface and the upper end portion has a drive mechanism 12 driving a cable for take-up and extension linked to the upper portion of the sloped surface. The drive mechanism has a pair of two cable drive machines on the carriage and each independently drives the cable respectively.
