equipment for controlling melt steel flows between ladle and distributor at continuous casting. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes frame joined with ladle and having guiding means, means for protecting stream of melt steel having tube immersed in bath of melt steel in distributor. Cover movable along guiding means is designed for closing casting opening of ladle. Tube is rigidly joined with plate for forming united assembly moving along guiding means to side of casting opening at removing cover from that position. Clamping means are designed for holding tube in contact with stationary upper plate. Flow of melt steel is controlled due to changing cross section of duct for melt steel in end portion of tube immersed to melt. Apparatus includes manipulator for moving tube-plate assembly into guiding means and out of them and for introducing cover to guiding means. EFFECT: simplified process of tube changing, elimination of air penetration inside tube at casting. 25 cl, 15 dwg
