SUBSTANCE: during initial period of compressor starting it is additionally controlled to allow it to gain full speed in shorter time thereby ensuring gradual transfer of rotor bearings from dry friction to half-dry and wet friction condition. In the process, flow transfer from delivery to suction can be also controlled which ensures location of transfer line below line for compressor exit from hysteresis mode. Starting device shaft mounts additional starting gear connected to control system. Additional starting gear is, essentially, worm transmission connected through freewheel clutch to compressor shaft and to transfer valve. The latter is connected to control system.
